Eisenhowers tax rate for the top bracket was 91-92%. What a commie huh? (And this was during the McCarthy era!) Obama just wants to bring it back to where it was in the 90's, which is still going to be 10% lower than Reagan's marginal rate throughout his term.

Unfortunately, the troubled economy started many years ago...with social security, medicare, medicaid, defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, converting our money to currency when taken off the gold standard, etc. Politicians - both Democrats and Republicans have simply been pushing the problem forward. No one is willing to pay the price for a long succession of wasteful spending. We owe too much and can only repay by printing worthless money and taxes...But it won't work!

Actually it's been proven time and time again lower taxes promotes hiring and leads to economic growth. The republican party has a fool proof way of running an economy. A government that spends very little requires very little revenue. Texas is a prime example their state government has a surplus and a ZERO percent income tax. If that can work at the state level it can work at the national level. These spendocrats are bankrupting our great nation and it needs to stop.

Nobody on Fixed News ever EVER complained about the billions spent in the wars that were based on LIES that cost taxpayer dollars and American lives. Yet when Pelosi wants to allocate some of the money on teaching people safe sex practices, the right wing of this country cries about the deficit. Who caused the deficit in the first place? Who caused the crisis we are in now?

I didn't really agree with the spending either, but YOU wasted more on the unnecessary war, so shut up about the spending.

Obama is just the figurehead of the New World Order that champions "green technology" in order to exploit cheap labor and resources in developing nations.
