@bannerpromo I saw them live on June 13th, 2010. (I'm dating that for future readers) Dan only came on stage on occasion, Only to sing his songs and to play guitar in other songs that required another guitarist. When on stage and not singing he had his back turned to the audience.

I actually think that A.C. Newman named the band after watching a chinese movie called the pornographer. And Dan Bejar and AC Newman share being the lead singer. We saw them live at Sasquatch and Dan Bejar only came onstage when he was the lead. The rest of the time he chilled backstage, A.C. however stayed on stage the whole time. I'd say Dan sang about 1/3 of the songs.
