So what happened to the CMT that used to play this kind of stuff? That channel is complete garbage now.

Martin vs. Taylor? I prefer martins personnally. By the way NEVER buy a guitar from Guitar Center! By from a reputable dealer with a locked and humidified room or better yet kept in a humidified case. I've had Martins for over 10 years, the D28 and D35 being my favorites. Agreed, the harmonica sucks on this version.
-
I agree.. it ends up sounding like an accordion.. very out of place..
-
great song. the harmonica they used on this is really yucky though.
-
ahhh, yea that would make sense, they do have more things to fix a guitar there. Well there has to be someway to keep the guitar from warping.
-
Because there a business if there shit starts warping they take it down and fix it. I mean I'm not an expert man but all this stuff I'm telling you comes from a guy who fixing guitars for a living, works for guitar center and specializes in martins.
-
yea, i dont have a martin, but im looking to get one, but if yours is warping, then why do the ones in guitar center never warp? all the ones hanging up.
-
I have been keeping it in a small room man. And yeah if your martin warps it is not covered in the warranty anymore.
-
You prolly want to keep it in a smaller room with a humidifier. To large a room and the humidifier won't do much. And I wouldn't put the guitar in the case much, just mount it on the wall like i do. And are you saying that if you still have a warranty on the guitar, if it warps then you can't do anything?
-
Have you heard about how some people think martin is currently building with pre mature wood? I've got a martin right now and it warps every year whether I keep in my case 24/7 or a humidified room 24/7. On top of that the martin CO. exterminated all warranty issues that were related to any type of humidity problems. Hence why I'm leaning toward taylors. Don't get me wrong though I love the sound of my martin.
-
i like both, taylors are bright and poppy, but you can't go wrong with the warm deep tone of a martin, lean towards both :)

it'd be tough to play this w/ a pick..
