During her time as an aide to the Minister of Immigration she was proud to assist Minister Nancy Allan with the creation of the Office of the Fairness Commissioner to ensure fair recognition of Foreign Credentials, as well as the introduction of the Worker Recruitment and Protection Act to protect vulnerable workers.
Rebecca was born and raised in Winnipeg. She studied Canadian Social History at the University of Winnipeg and has a Master's diploma in Community Economic Development from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
