Consider these computer shortcut tips when working with documents, photos or videos. Shortcuts are very helpful and save time when you're working on a project. With quick ways of accomplishing complicated tasks, your projects will tend to run smoothly.
Today's tutorial is a series of computer shortcut tips which could prove helpful to those who are, and for those who are not so computer savvy.
Okay lets start with some shortcut keys such as ctrl A, ctrl C, ctrl v and ctrl z.
Ctrl A allows you to "select all" in a document or photo, meaning this function highlights all the text or image in a given field.
Ctrl C is used to copy. This replicates whatever text or image you have highlighted to what's known as your "clipboard" and allows you to bring it somewhere else and "paste" it in.
Ctrl V is used to paste whatever you have copied to your clipboard.
Ctrl Z, is used to undo the last function performed on a text document or a graphic, so this command is really useful if you should make a mistake.
These 4 shortcuts are helpful, but you can also explore your menu options and see what other shortcuts are available for the current window you are working with.
If you want to refresh your current window use F5, but if you want to reload the page by resending the information, you'd want to do a "hard refresh", or ctrl and F5.
Using ctrl with the plus or minus can zoom in and out of your browser windows. The plus zooms in and the subtraction sign zooms out.
You can copy your screen just by clicking Ctrl and prt scr. This saves your screen to your clipboard, so now open up paint in your accessories and click ctrl V to paste it in. As you can see it pasted what my screen looked like at the time.
Sometimes I find the need to move or upload multiple files or folders at once.
You can either box them and drag them like that, or highlight the first file to be moved, then hold Shift and click the last file to be moved. Everything in between will be included allowing you to move, copy or upload the group in a single move.
If you want to copy a file instead of moving it to another folder, drag it with the right click of your mouse.
Alt F4 closes your current window, and ctrl, alternate, delete allows you to run your task manager if your computer should get frozen or locked up.
Well that's enough for now. Keep posted on my channel for more videos and tutorials and thanks for watching!
