2 things. Either the vette was not 600 hp or the skyline was more than 650. Fact. My c5 z06 runs 11.80's with 381 rwh. With another 150hp on tap it should go 10's. Now what this means is that the vette in the video should pull on the skyline if the hp numbers for both cars are correct. With that being said I doubt the vette was 600. End of you tube land story. @SUPERBADKBOY He probably thought that shifting at RPMs where the peak power comes from would be best, but only morons do such thing.. If you were to shift and get the most power out of the car on a race, you are supposed to USE this peak power as long as possible, not short-shifting like a sissy like the guy driving the Z06 did..

11.1 and a 600hp Z06 didn't hang? Yah I call bullshit on that without a doubt. A stock Z06 on better than the GY tires can make those numbers. One with 600 at the crank would be eating 11.1 alive all day long.

Calm down. They're both modified if one is putting out 600 HP and the other one is putting out 650. It doesn't reflect badly on either car company. Just shows who dumped more money into their car. Race them stock and see what happens.
