On Life & Enlightment gives a commentary on the practice of tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism and explores the traditional and meta- physical aspects of this religion or also called life philosophy, as reincarnation and fortune telling. Moreover a survey is given of the traditional practice of Tibetan medical science and the political history of this country.
This documentary bring us over thousands of kilometers to the most isolated areas of the massive of the Himalaya, amidst the flourishing monasteries of Tibet and India. We accompany the Buddhist monks on their spiritual path to enlightenment, we become witness of spectacular rituals and we learn the revealing theories and techniques. We are informed about the secrets of the Tibetan medical science, we are witness of the treatments by Tibetan doctors for their patients and we are deepening our knowledge about the harvest of medical plants and how they are made into medicines. Besides the abundance of as well cultural as spiritual information, this documentary also treats the political history of Tibet. Some religious leaders and His Holiness the Dalai Lama give their opinion about the meaning of a free Tibet.

Enligthenment is bullshit , and im gonna spend a good part of my life to prove why =) Nobody has reached enlightenment even when they dedicated 80+ years of there lives. When they reach the end , they realize they didnt try hard enough . They rationalize there failure with very baseless thoughts. Its scary , unaccetable , its spreading misinformation and leading many in a path of selfishness. when they claim being selfish will help humanity kiss my ass budda
