  • These three videos are great for those of us who are new to these concepts. Thanks for these videos. Please post more!

BTW that last line was priceless! "Now granted, when you've got kids, there's crap everywhere"

  • "Now granted if you've got kids you've got crap everywhere and that's beside the point" :P

Come to think of it, that's the best defence us Brits have got against home intruders!

Sounds silly and borrows from Home Alone but it's a good idea. Setting up traps for them to snag themselves in, then you know their exact location.

  • Okay see where I get lost is when to use the flashlight--I see the blinding effect, couldn't see you, but if the invader is armed and ready and you flash the light at them, can't they just shoot in the direction of the light? Can you make a video where little to no light is used in either room? You mention about walking around the house with no light successfully, I know it would be difficult to make a video with no light obviously, but any thoughtful tips?

  • @dtigers27 Worry about the safety and well being of your family, not some law a bunch of idiot politicians came up with. Retreating is a good way to get shot in the back.

  • If you're going to give the person the option to surrender, why not announce that you know they are there before you clear the corner, rather than stick your head out and start talking to someone who might be there simply to kill you with a gun trained on the door way waiting for you to appear. The act of speaking reduces your focus and reaction time. They say shoot first ask questions later for a reason lol

  • @jojomoor except nails

  • Run out, guns ablaze and take on the intruder. I'm going to bunker down in my room with my old lady and our two dogs, lock the door and call the police. If they enter the room, I will use deadly force. However, Maryland has, I believe, the duty to retreat law. What's a brother to do in this situation? Am I screwed either way or would the plan I described be sufficient enough? I understand my question borders more on the legal aspect, but I'm just curious if you have experience in similar cases.

  • Haha, man! I saw this like 4 months ago and have been looking for it ever since. Great video, no doubt about it. Question though: I live in the abomination that is Maryland. We live in one of the wealthiest counties in the country and have a growing gang population. Burgleries, robberies are becoming more and more common here. However, I'm completely clueless as to which course of action I should take if someone breaks into my home while I'm there. I'm not one of these people that are going to..

  • nothing hurts more than a lego block under the foot. If you know where your kids lego blocks are, scadder them around the dark room and waite till the robber arrives. That coult be funny haha

  • "Ill deal with him with whatever force level is appropriate" lol That means pull the trigger.
