When it comes to watching or doing experiments with HHO there are many things we should all be aware of. This video is about getting to the bottom of some misconceptions and basic truths.

  • what kind of glue did you use for your acrylic container? weld-on?

  • I am not sure exactly what it is called, I picked it up from the place I get my plastic from. It is a one part clear glue specially designed for Perspex.

  • for the plastic did you have to get all of that cut-to-size, I'm planning on making one like it but worried about cutting the pieces myself, maybe getting them cnc'd by someone.

  • As long as you buy it from a proper plastics shop, they will cut it for you to size. I had all of mine cut to size, it's the only way to get the accuracy you need for an airtight system.

  • pathetic

  • Hexavalent Chromium is how it is pronounced. It is pretty nasty stuff. I agree with you totally about doing bubble and volume output tests. Seeing is believing (or deceiving), but testing is knowing. Good work.

  • On that two plate cell, turn one plate 180 degrees so the power connectors are opposite each other and see if there's a performance difference.

  • The new unit, which I have called the Stick cell, is very different from anything that I have built before and has some design features that I have some high hopes for. Once I have seen how it performs I will then build a production cell for the car and a blowtorch which will probably have a +nnnnn- layout.

  • It is a difficult question to answer but from what I have seen you need between 4 to 6 litres per minute for something like a lawnmower to idle on HHO. All of my units so far have been just tests cells, and not capable of producing anywhere near enough. I was in the middle of building my latest unit but unfortunately have been hit with a severe case of tonsillitis and have been in bed for the last week. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to it soon.

  • Hello Mark,

Had a go at making one +nnnnn-nnnnn+ and gives nice production.

Would love to know how much gas to make for a diesel landcruiser

Have you tried your cell on a car?

    Keep up the work.
