i think zakks the most distinct and intense player out right now..his song writing, voice its all ridiculous haha plus he did it all wasted..jus listen to chorus of doomsday jesus!! zakks my idol hes an entertainer n a damn good one. not trying to be a stupid guitar genius like other shredders..

There is a mistake in the title!
If you write zakk wylde and solo in one headline, it automatically includes amazingness! it´s not necessary because everytime zakk touches a guitar it becomes amazing!

zakks an amazing guitarist, the problem is that after a while all of it starts to sound very similar. pinch harmonic at the end of every bar, and throw in a couple bends here and a few over there. its kind of a shame really, because i really enjoy his playing, it just gets repetitive........

@munchy040 I totally agree, I've heard Zakk play the same scale over and over without ever getting out of the box once in a while. It sounds a lot better to explore some unexpected notes once in a while that take you in a whole new dirrection.

Lmfao, Hilarious, Its funny that people diss Zakk. Get your ass beside him and see what happens, lmfao.. Sad thing is, he doesn't have to play a different scale to make you look like complete and utter shit. However, Zakk likes Blues, so the tonics he chooses are to suit him, which is all that matters. I don't hear you complaining about Hendrix's lame ass playing the same shit, over and over. Atleast Zakk can play ~.^ Kthnx

..without wanting to upset people, this solo by Zakk is musicaly piss poor. Zakk may well be a decent rock guitarist, that solo was very amateurist!! Ive been playing guitar since I was 6. Zakk Wylde is at best an average player who got lucky, even Zakk will tell you that(as he has said in many interviews!!) This solo can be played by anyone who has a bit of dedication!! Zakk aint that hot as a shredder!!
