I got a Porsche and a Saab. I enjoy driving both cars. Both cars are a driver's car. Both companies build cars that give you an exciting and enjoyable ride. I love them both.

I watched a cab make a left turn in front of a Boxster. The Boxster driver swerved to the right, kept his foot planted on the brake and made a bee line for the front of a Honda on his right. Even when he was going about 2 mph, he didn't take his foot off the brake and sideswiped the Honda. All he'd have had to do was take his foot off the brake, veer slightly to the left and he would have been headed up the street with no damage done to anyone. Great car, lousy driver.

.... having a bigger car doesn't mean it's safer. It feels like you're implying that, and I just wanted to point that out.

@malaki0a they don't do crash tests on exotics.

@chuffwit Not only Porshe> all German eingeneering: Mercedes, BMW, Skoda, Vw, Porsche and so on.

Hahaha Amen to that Saab=Saad

Hold on there
Have you driven a saab? The viggen, 900s and 9-3 are powerful and solid. Look up sleeper cars. Saabs are definitely enjoyable.
Having said this, the Boxster is beautiful, powerful, and maybe not as safe as some other cars, but it is safe enough.
Why can I not find ANY 911 crash tests results/videos anywhere on the web?

I looked at death rates before I bought my Boxster. I was astonished to find that it's just as safe as my Suburban, a vehicle twice its size. Accident avoidance, amazing breaks, and great safety features. Porsche engineering rules!
