John Zorack, a successful attorney and former resident of the Myron Stratton Home in the 1930's and 1940's, talks about the Stratton home's founder Winfield Scott Stratton and this wealthy Colorado gold miner's vision for helping needy children and seniors in the Pikes Peak region.
This was wonderful! My husband and I collect Colorado Milk Bottles from the dairies that used to be in operation in the state. We first became aware of the Stratton home when we purchased a Cream Can with the name on it. We began to research the home, read "Midas of the Rockies" a biography on WS Stratton as well as find more collectibles related to the home. Later that year we went to Evergreen Cemetery as well as the Stratton home and other landmarks in the Springs that related to WS Stratton.
