Yeah, I've seen that one with the red guitar. It's great, but I prefere studio versions!!!
I would appreciate it a lot if you could update it, and let me tell you something, If you showed people how to do the studio part, it would get a hell lot of views, 'cause barly anybody can do it!!!!
(I'm Subscribing!!!)
Cheers, Matt,

You're too kind, thx. Well, I have the pitch shifted verson from the Live in Chicago Vertigo tour, but not the studio. I did figureout the studio version but it's very long and the notes are tricky to hear. I may get around to updating it someday. I think there is a reason Edge doesn't play that long studio pitch shift! ;-)

Absolutly brilliant!!! Your the best tutorial giver on the net.
Could you do a tutorial on the
Pitch-Shifted part of Beautiful Day
(Studio version!!!) Please???
Cheers, Matt.
Hi! I love your tutorials
One prob
I have a Zoom G2.Nu1 and I sometimes I just can't put all the effects together
Per example
In this song, I can't have the pitch shifter with 2 delays, because the pitch shifter belongs to the same module, modulation, as the modulate delay
What do u suggest??

I suggest getting a Line 6 HD500 or similar unit. I use the Axe-Fx II but it's very expensive. You have to upgrade to something else I think.

Hi Michael, appreciate the tutorials, very helpful. I understand you are using a Axe-FX for everything, but do you know any other effects pedals/ rackmounts that have the octave effect for the chords?

Thanks, and no problem! Yes, the LIne6 M9 and M13 have an effect block that does a pitch shift I think.

Dude - nice work!!! Love the videos and all the great info. I've got a Line6 Pod X3 Live and can't seem to get the great effects you have. I would love to find out more about your rig setup and effects -how you play and record the videos-do you play out with a band or thru an amp, etc. I might be looking to get the Axe effects unit you mention and use. Just don't know all the benefits yet. I'd love to get your thoughts. Keep up the great posts and playing. Marty

Marty, join the U2_Guitar_Tutorials group on Yahoo. Others own the Axe also. We can answer your questions there. Michael
