@crudnup My doctor had put me on Duac and it did absolutly nothing but then he gave me erythromycin topical gel and ive been on it for about a week and my face is already clearing up

btw i have the same kinda acne thing as you. not too red but bumps on my face

Im about to start a weeks worth of Erythromycin for a infection in the root of my tooth (abscess?) just thought Id look it up online before swallowing any. Im allergic to penicillin.

i went to the clinic today and spoke to my doctor. i dont have extreme acne, i only have spots on face, groin and legs. My faces isnt really bad, not red, but still i didnt wont spots, so he gave me 'Duac once daily gel' aplly everynight, and 4 packets of 28 tablets of Erythromycin (112 all together). Lets hopse that most of my spots have gone before school starts : )

i was on erythromycin in capsulers o_O it wasn't a face gel :p , and no, i never used benzoyl, except in clearasil >_> crap brand

@Jukukiwaiyi2 Lmao yea I saw how long ago this was but already commented..Can I ask you did you doctor prescribe you 2 things? benzoyl(white gel) &Erythromycin(clear gel) and also how long is the erythromycin suppose to be on your face?(do you wash it off right away or leave it for a limited time?)

erythromycin did shit with me, thats all i can say
