This is the first test of the Sk-E-Doo, the world's first practical electric snowmobile utilizing nickel-cadmium batteries which do not react poorly in the cold. This sled has a top speed of about 80 kph (50 mph) and a range of about 50 km (30 miles) on a charge which for most people is quite adequate.

  • Folks, let this serve as a lesson to us as to why cousins shouldn't marry. It is clearly stated at the beginning of the video that it is a conversion from gasoline to electric power. Also, retarded is not spelled "retarted", when you spell it wrong it make us think you might be, well, you know...

  • @TLEBC - yup, that's where inbreeding rears its ugly head - in stupid comments like that. Keep up the great work on the electric conversions, and keep posting the videos!
