If Gary Johnson is smart, he would drop out of the race and endorse Ron Paul. Then by 2016 or 2020, all the Ron Paul supporters will be behind him and by that time, more people will have waken up and he would most likely become president. But by staying in the race, he is taking away the libertarian vote and if Paul loses because of that, they will never forgive him.
