an absolutely fantastic song ! all interested check the original version (1697) recorded in London and the New Year's Eve of 2007/2008 in New York. with Eddie Floyd, of course. Also the read the rather sad comments about Eddie's situation today.

It was written and first performed by Eddie Floyd in 1967.
It's been also covered by Otis Redding & Carla Thomas (as a duet, 1967) and Amii Stewart (1978).
