This is why actors were invented. So we could enjoy the brilliance of people like Matt Smith! (Not forgetting the rest of the crew and Steven Moffat - who was epic in writing Sherlock!) LOVE IT!

@JediPug1 Exactly....Personally, I just think this @gindalf0492 is just butthurt ;\. And the Doctor Who fandom is full of incredibly intelligent and sensible people; if Matt wasn't actually any good, even the Whovians wouldn't watch. But we do, because Matt and Karen Arthur and Alex and everyone else are just amazing.

@gindalf0492 If that were the case, then Doctor Who would have won Best Drama. Instead, Downton Abbey did.
Matt Smith is a brilliant actor - and not just as the Doctor.

He can act fantastically well. He has been in far more things then Doctor Who, but is a fantastic Doctor. He deserved to win this so much and I am proud of him. He is my number 1 role model =D I love him so much, and not just for his looks. His personality is amazing and he is just the best thing that has ever happened to the show, in fact to this planet. He didn't win because of it being a popularity contest only, he won for being amazing and inspiring, and a FANTASTIC Doctor xx
