ANTANAS JASENKA_NYC-001 (2008)

NYC_001 is a score written for any instrument of sound transmission or formation by which it is possible to create audiovisual space in real time. Three colors: black, red and white are used in a graphical score for each instrument/device. All three parts are performed by watching and following the virtual cursor. Various ways of performance and sound creation are used in the parts of the composition. While performing this score a whole range of different and non-standard sounds are created. In this way the achieved effect is of a non-ordinary play of sounds and sound dance which one can admire in the whole composition or different parts of it. The composition is dedicated to its interpreters who created their own dance- E. and A. Strimaiciai.
