With the 2011 Hybrids arriving, SEPTA is trying to average every bus district age of the fleet a little under/over 6 years. So Southern now has 5600 diesels. 5616 a original Southern bus, is back at home and in this video is on Route G. The driver was none other than Septafan, and this was his first of many times to drive this overhaul. Nonetheless, you'll witness a 40mph turn onto City Ave.

  • So what happens to the 8000 diesels?

  • @CHiZZy112 Well since Frontier traded their 5600s to Southern (also because of high mileage) and to balance Southern's fleet age since Southern mostly get the new stuff last. So 8096, 8100-8109, and 8114 went to Frontier of Southern as of right now.
