I go over the parts to my Dry Cell setup and give a warning about finding a cell.

  • This is GREAT info for people just being introduced to this field. Kudos.

To be honest we prefer the pressure relief valve, and using the bubbler or reservoir to dissipate the blast. You don't have any of the flow restriction that a solid-state flashback arrestor causes. But, that being said...flashback arrestors do have their place, expecially with torches. Of course, when you get up past 15 Lpm, it becomes a whole different animal.

    Great job,

    Steve

  • Thanks for the comments. I think I will be ordering one of your 3/4" EPD's. I like the design the best.

  • Great work! I bought a HHo pressure relief valve for mine on Ebay for $7.00 made of brass and it works great. I feel safer with that over a flash back arrestor. Arrestors don't seem reliable enough yet. Keep up the good work! Den

  • Thanks! I agree, the more I have researched it, I have found I like a pressure relief device over a flashback arrestor. I'm looking at a couple different ones right now. When I get one installed, I will post a video.

  • No prob, I hope it helps you.

  • Hey, what mpg results are you getting and are you using any ECU management solutions along side the cell? Thanks

  • I have been running HHO systems in my car here in the UK for five years surely the amount of electrolyte you are using although drawing a huge amount of amps and producing large amounts of HHO will cause your water to overheat, so much so it will turn to steam not to mention all the 'mud residual' left behind. may I reccomend you use an electrolyte intercooler in your system.

  • i am going to work on a dry cell and wanted to know if you are stiull using it and if you have a efie installed

  • I have several videos relating to flashbacks. You might find them interesting. Also, have videos on different types of safety relief valves. Good luck with your experimenting, and be safe.

  • I realy appreciate all the info
