  • Is that a BMW? If so what size/model are you driving up this scenic pass with? Thanks for the great video.

  • @artsbest

The camera was mounted with tape on a foam pad on the pannier of a BMW R1200GS (very high technology solution). Other bikes on the video include a Honda Varadero and several BMW R1150Gs bikes and an R1200GS Adventure.

  • bloody great piece of road but not as challenging as some like Hard Knott Pass in Cumbria UK

  • That one is on my list - last time I was there it was for work - in a box with a wheel at ach corner :-(

  • It´s a great run up to Passo Stelvio.

I hope, you have more Videos from the Dolomitis.

  • Sorry, this is all I took on the holiday. we also did some lovely roads round Cortina but I did not have the camera.

  • Get the roads ready for me i'm comming next year.

Thanks for sharing that vid with us 10 out of 10.

  • bello l' ho fatto anche io con la brutale qualcosa che tutti i motociclisti devono fare..

  • In the area around the Stelvio Pass and the way up to the top of the Stelvio make up the best motorbike - riding experience i've had in my life so far. I absolutely adored it!

  • much as I like the Lake District, there's no way Hardknott, Wrynose or indeed anywhere in the UK compare to roads like this. Saw a postcard of the Stelvio in the mid 70's, finally got there in 2002, definately worth riding all the way there!

  • I've ridden the Hardknott Pass several times over the years.Perhaps I shouldn't bother riding all the way to Italy to ride my bike on a less challenging road.

  • Or Kirkstone.
