Futuristic TV commercial for First Union Bank in the late 1990s, inspired by Blade Runner, produced by Publicis Hal and Riney and George Lucas' Industrial Light & Magic. Becker Multimedia based an original corporate learning strategy on this awesome ad campaign.

  • @wellsfargotruth now Wells Fargo has Bought Wachovia ( a good bank that made some bad decisions) it's First Union all over again. Expect a FU like exodus from Wachovia customers once WF takes over!

  • Yes good ad with the best in SFX but most 90s nostalgics are so enthralled by the SFX they fail to recognize thatthe reality is that this is a commercial about a humongous bank that raped millions of customers through huge fees and ill advised aquisitions, damaging its image so much that when it bought Wachovia it assumed the latters name. Thankfully when they expanded in the Philadelphia market back in 97 Customers recognised how much they were getting raped. and left in droves
