Peavey Vypyr Tube 120 combo Sanpera II demo review part 2 (sound test)

I just got this amp recently and I noticed there were not really any good videos on it, so I thought I'd post a little video about the features and performance of the Peavey Vypyr tube 120 watt combo amp and the Sanpera II foot switch footswitch. I explain the features and do a little demo of the footswitch and the amp.

What's the difference between solid state or tube or tubes?.. whatever. & let's say if you're playing a clean tone & you need your distortion, then your lead.. How does that work? 3 simple clicks or you have to go through your settings/banks?

@FatherStarr Solid state amps generally don't have that oomph to the sound, and they tend to sound very digitally processed. Tube amps have a much richer sound. You need to turn tube amps up much louder to get the full tone of them though. that's where the "hybrid' aspect of this comes into play. The vypyr can have pretty good tones at low volumes also.

@FatherStarr As far as the switching goes, there are numerous banks stores in the sanpera. Each bank stores 4 presets. Each preset is controlled with the buttons on the sanpera. So you can store whichever tones on each preset. It's really handy.
