@Schutzstaffel23 im speaking as a person who just got back from a trip to Algonquin pack, 50 miles from the nearest camp ground. it was very fun, me and my 2 brothers. they are outdoors men aswell.

Its funny how the comments on bear grylls vs les stroud are coming from the same stereotype people i.e. brainiacs like Les for his wit and skills for survival...Bear Grylls is good for people with 2-seconds attention span...seriously hes more of a stuntman than a survivor...

@FugaziFace82 maybe if i had 3 years worth of full rations i might do what bear does. but for real survivial or even just practice/mock survival runs like i do. i always practice les strouds techniques.

Bear Grylls is a fucking ex marine or green beret or whetevr...climbed mount everest and has a huge ego...Les is a very down to earth guy showing you how to survive when your an average joe..they are two different people, very different people....if i was fucked and got lost somewhere Im almost positive id use Les' techniques rather then Bears
