2 days after winning an Academy Award for Best Original Song from the film Once, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova stopped by Amoeba to pick up some movies to provide some much needed entertainment and relaxation after the Oscar whirlwind. Glen Hansard is an Irish singer/songwriter from the band The Frames. In 2006, he formed The Swell Season with Czech singer Marketa Irglova. In 2007, the duo made the movie Once, in which they acted, sang, and fell in love (in real life too!).
