Supposedly Muzzy has a larger pipe out now for the 09's. It's supposed to be quieter. It's not an official change, so I'm not sure if you'd get the old 09 or new 09 version when you order online. Supposed to be a full 2dB quieter.

Did you have quiet core/spark arrestor installed for this video?

I just bought one on 8/23/2008. I'm 5'6" and was on my tippie toes as well. It doesn't settle very much...I just got used to it. Love the bike...good luck.

No big deal changing the height. They make lowering links in different sizes. Easy to change out (5 min. job). Great 1st bike! It's pretty tame from the factory, but tons of mods you can do to make this bike rip!

i'm also interested in getting the klx, but i'm kind of worried about the height..went to the dealer, sat on it, and was tippie toeing. i'm about 5'8/9. do u know if the suspension might adjust, or what i can do about this? or perhaps it aint much of a deal..idk, its my first time purchasing a motorcycle..
