Jeffrey Lyons and Neal Gabler head to the drive-in for a special review of Summer '85's biggest hits, including COCOON, THE GOONIES, ST ELMOS FIRE, PALE RIDER, and more! Due to the length of this clip I am uploading it in three different sections.
They might not have been 'Siskel & Ebert', but these two had a pretty good chemistry together.
Though I remember being initially disappointed when they took over for Gene and Roger (who moved on to "At The Movies"), I soon realized they were actually pretty good, and found myself watching their show more often than the new Siskel & Ebert show.
I saw them in person in the early 80's when they came to Marquette University as part of an Oscar 'tour' they did one year to talk about movies.

I wonder how a guy who came across as reasonably competent as Jeffrey Lyons could give the world an absolute tool like his son!
