You're Not Impressing Anyone - La Trobe students try their hand at road safety advertisements
Jake Spiteri, Cara Dowell and Brendan O'Sullivan;
Students of the Bachelor of Business Marketing degree and Marketing Majors at La Trobe University have applied their classroom knowledge to create public education advertisements on road safety.
The students have created the advertisements as part of an assignment looking at how different organisations run their campaigns.
Young people are of major concern for the TAC as they are over-represented in the road toll. In 2009, 23 per cent of drivers who died on Victoria's roads in 2009 were aged between 18 and 25, although this group represents only 14 per cent of license holders.
