The music in the Lua Bar reminded me of the Bigfoot party sequence in Sam and Max Hit the Road.

@bumchekadadaboyz It's been a year since you wrote that question but general consensus, as well as my personal opinion, is that the third game in the series is the best.

Lua, that's a script language, like SCUMM used for the first 3 Monkey Island games.

i loved this part when you had to torch the painting so that you can get it, but it was a bit of a pain with the whole timing part..
