  • 0:20 that downward lip should mean contempt and the gulp should be indicative of a lie, mkes me think this shit doesn't work except on tim roth

  • @lilblitz Maybe watching Tim Roth isn’t the way to go for you. Downturned lip is sadness not contempt. A gulp could be a dry throat or could be nervous reaction or could be a lie reaction. What was the context it was in? You won’t learn much by watching actors, but you will by observing and thinking about what your seeing. If your willing to put in the time, study and effort in, you will find how accurate and true it all is. Good luck

  • @TheInterviewer3 Your welcome. Where ever I can help, that's what I'm here for

  • @FaceProfiler Thanks for the help .

  • @ShanesseP Lie to Me was good for raising awareness but the science has been replaced with throw away lines for entertainment impact. You wont learn the science by watching an actor because an actor by definition is a liar telling lies. That is they are only acting and not FEELING the part they play. Expressions are all about feelings. Only the very best charater actors FEEL the part they play.

  • @TheInterviewer3 Don’t focus too much on catching lies. Some lies are said for a positive/helpful reason. People aren’t wired to be totally honest and life would be horrible if we 100% truthful. Best advice is stop looking for lies and start looking to see the emotion. Put your questions up on my Facebook wall at “Reading Faces” where I have more space to answer your questions in greater detail and we can have a back and forth conversation. I hope that helps.

  • Anyone who says they don’t lie is a liar. You would be a horrible person if you didn’t tell some lies. Imagine telling everyone the full truth regardless of how it made them feel. There would be no childrens fairytales that make their lives (and other loved ones lives) more enjoyable. It’s not lies that are bad, but the intent behind the lie. Micro expressions tell you what a person is feeling and if you’re a decent person, that’s more important to know than if they are lying. Right!!

  • @FaceProfiler I love the show Lie To Me . I may be only 12 but I have been really trying to learn about Micro Expressions what are some tips you could give to me about people lining to me . Like teacher or others . Thank you for reading this if you do or not .

  • @ShanesseP Thanks for your support. But if someone repeats what I’ve said then they are repeating true facts (just as I do), and that’s OK by me. I'd prefer that than them quoting a TV show. If they get the info off a TV show then they will get some facts and a lot of rubbish at the same time. Problem is they will never know what’s right and what’s wrong. “Lie To Me” has been good for raising awareness, but do you know what is fact and what’s just there for dramatic effect?

  • @tj548p

Watch Lie to Me. Then you'll understand.

  • Your video has been ripped off by some Hillbilly.
