At the end of a ten day road trip across France I finally arrived at the town of Millau. But it was Norman Foster's incredible bridge that I'd really come to see.

I FIND THESE SINGLE STAND SUSPENSION BRIDGES DANGEROUS
There are several of these types of bridges in the USA that I have driven across. Only these bridges give me vertigo, panic, and make me dizzy. I do not have this problem on other bridges. I wrote a letter to the US DOT about this but never received a response. I do not think I could drive across that French bridge.
