For my first Mass of Thanksgiving, a group of us trekked out to the Cane Ridge Meeting House outside Paris, KY. The CRMH was built in 1791 and has a large stone structure built as an outer shell to preserve it. In the liturgy is an optional commemoration of the BVM. The liturgy itself is Evensong and Holy Communion (Evening Prayer within the Context of Mass, for you Roman folks out there) and is according to Rite I of the Book of Common Prayer, with the Eucharistic Canon coming from the Antiochian Orthodox version of that text. Note that we kept things very simple in order to fit the venue.
Nota bene: Please excuse the hurried preaching. I had not intended to give a homily during Evensong, but felt my odd presentation of the lessons needed a bit of explaining.
