What is the point of the background music. Don't we want to hear the bowls?

How does the ringing of bowls correlate to healing? At the risk of sounding skeptical, We are inundated all day long by electrical fields, cosmic rays, pollution, noise etc. I cannot see the benefits other than being a money making scheme. This may sound like an ancient metaphysical activity but it reeks of New Age just like crystals and pyramids.

Thank you for that lesson. It was very helpful but may I suggest removing the background music as made it a little difficult to hear the tonal qualities of the bowl?

Hello again, I am also in Australia down in NSW I was thinking maybe if I post a video with some photo's and a sound clip maybe you could tell a little from that? The bowl I have is a hammered bowl from nepal I paid 80 dollars for it. Also I am very interested in your singing cups and would like to know more, also I would like to know where I can purchase a large bowl with a very deep tone

Well, that brings thing s a little closer! lol I do have quality bowls here, from good to pretty much the best you can find. A lot of the larger bowls have a deep resonance that you only really get when it is close to the ears ... Then it hums through you and you physically feel it vibrating inside you. These temple bowls also tend to have iron in them, which makes them very different to other bowls.

Thanks so much for the lesson on picking singin bowls. But I must make a comment about the background music. While under ordinary circumstances I would like the music, it was a mjor distraction for me. I wanted to listen to the commentary and the bowls. If you should make more of these videos please reconsider the addition of background music. It takes away from the effectiveness of the lesson.
