I just trained until i could do a backflip outside!

Then i could do it with a sword over my friend :)

It was fun and made a cool effect!

How did the sword stick into the ground on that angle? You threw it backwards and went it as if it was thrown from the opposite direction. And was that the music from paintball?

the sword turned rounds while flying threw the air, and no that music was not from paintball...

interesting editing. a five for effort and creativity, a 3 for technique. in case u are to make another film with katanas, these may help:

1) move faster. use wooden swords to practice if u dont wanna kill each other.

2) jumping and turning and running is not advised in a fight.

yes they where real,

and they where sharp as fuck.

And if theres no running, turning or jumping in a fight then its not fun to watch...

And it was really hard to shoot the katana fight movie because then we didnt have a tripod and so it was hard placing the camera in things to fit the picture, so yeah.

@Tommigud ok here is the thing you don't run and jump with a Katana because it is unprofessional and also because you don't know what you are doing trust me i can train for five more years in Kendo(the way of the sword) and still not be ready to use a katana if you knew what you were doing then you wouldn't care about fun over safety

@Tommigud If you used real katana's then you are an idiot.

I train with the katana and it's not something to be trifled with... For starters you're going to damage either the blade, or each other.

Blocking with the blade of the katana is a no no for starters... It's a weak metal and is likely to either shatter or chip, destroying part of the blade. You must block with the back, flat end of the blade...

But if you must fool around, use a bokken or risk serious injury...
