For some reason nobody uploaded this yet so I took the liberty of doing so. This is the first version of this song with vocals, and personally I like it a lot better than the album version. This was the first Periphery/"djent" song I ever heard... needless to say my mind was completely blown.

ALL CREDIT FOR THIS BELONGS TO PERIPHERY AND CHRIS BARRETTO. Chris is now in the bands Friend For A Foe and Ever Forthright, check them out. If you want a high quality download of this or other Periphery demos, go to Bulb's soundclick page.

  • They TOTALLY should have kept that ending in the studio version.

  • @BioGeometric066 Spencer's balls aren't big enough to do that...

  • I can't scream so I would be useless in this band. This guy's got me beat. Spencer's got me beat. I want to sing like angel on djent

  • @UnholyMessiah555 Perfectly put.

  • ROPEN YOUR EYES!

  • You can really hear the baritone strain on the highs in the chorus, haha xD Dude's improved immensely though, his vocals for Ever Forthright and Friend For A Foe are unbelievable. Spencer and Casey definitely fit this band more, but neither of them would be able to do what this guy does in EF. Truly a unique and versatile musician

  • I'm thinking I prefer Spencer because when Chris does clean vocals he is a bit too Pop-Punk for me :P

  • I prefer Spencer's version

  • Everytime I hear spence sing he has to push so hard to try and get what he does on the album and he gets off key. Chris would pull it back and hit a more comfy note so that it wouldnt sound bad. I think chris has more talent for this. Regardless none of us are in the band. If spence works well for them vocally and gets along better then so be it. Its not bad, I just dont think most of the cleans fit the music. Epic music with just too much clean I wish it would be heavier on the vocals.

  • Does anyone have the links to some of Chris' songs with Periphery? Would love stuff like this, and The Walk.

  • @ravenFF32 agree

  • @onoxtracks Why sadly?
