Naval Air Station Cubi Point & Naval Base Subic Bay, Philippines.

My first duty station in the U.S. Navy was the "P.I." Philippine Islands. A Navy Chief walked up to me and said "You're lucky, good liberty, don't screw it up".

So there I was a young single man, destine to get married to a local Filipina before returning to the States.

I managed to stay single, the entire 18 months that I was there. It wasn't easy. It was like gold fish in a large fish bowl. Plenty of pretty faces and attractive bodies shapes of all kinds.

I met many good people. Learned to use the "Tagalog" dialect with my current knowledge of Spanish to go shopping in the local outdoor markets.

Learned what it meant to be Filipino.
