@jasonc212 Back when Robotech aired no one could have predicted a fandom that we have today or the legacy that Robotech would provide. When HG let Carl go, it was for business reasons. The production was over and they no longer had need of him. It was not personal. When HG discovered the fandom and love for Robotech, they brought Carl back. That's business. Frank's statements here are a PERSONAL admiration for Carl and his work. They are not business.

@jasonc212 Carl was a big boy. The entertainment industry was and is cutthroat. Carl knew this and im sure he swung the ax now and then himself. He had to and so did harmony gold. Frank has genuine love for carl. It was a good thing he was let go from harmony gold. We would have never had streamline pictures. There would be no robotech without Carl Macek or Frank Agrama.
P.S Sorry about the crapy footage. At least the audio is good!
