@vincet2009 That's exactly what I was trying to say! I think the judges actually hurt James chances by not telling him what he could do to improve.

@ross121670 The judges are paid to hype the contestants for the audience. There hasn't been a truthful judge since Simon Cowell left Idol. The judges didn't do James any favors by not giving him the constructive criticism that he needed. He might have lasted longer had they told him what he needed to hear instead of blowing smoke up his ass.
