Caryn Kadavy - 1988 World Championships Short Program

Caryn Kadavy only finishes 8th in the short program at the 1988 World Figure Skating Championships. Combined with her 6th place in the compulsory figures, she would be in 5th place overall heading into the long program (4.8 + 3.2 = 8.0). Note that commentator Toller Cranston actually designed the costume Caryn wore for this program.

Those marke were ridiculously low. Her jump combinaton and program were better than Elizabeth Manley's, and she got higher marks.
