@TheNuncFluens Its a very common chord progression so it should sound familiar. To me it sounds like 'Fly me to the Moon', which also sounds like I will survive :-D

Phenomenal! A VERY helpful tutorial. I'm about to add strings to a song I'm recording for someone and I had NO idea how to do it...not being a keyboard player isn't going to help much either though. But this has given me hope that I can maybe create something passable. Many many thanks!

This is very nice but... The wall you hit is when you want to create a counter melody o real melodies behind the main voice. Heard the Simon Hale arrangements for incognito? That's what I\d like to write. Just toying around with the harmony can get you so far.. Very good starting point though.

@alobosk Exactly! Responding to the harmony is a good start I reckon but in many cases you need to also work round the existing melodies. The Incognito arrangements are a great example. I'm going to have a go at a video about working with melodies some time!
