Touching the Stone Age in Britain

Throughout the past 30 years Archaeologist & Historian James Balme has been recovering flint and stone implements left behind across the landscape of Britian by the Stone Age and Prehistoric peoples of Britain. With many of his finds dating back to over 8000 years ago the discovery of such implements is rewriting what we know of activity in the area during the Stone Age period of history in Britain...... There is no doubt that James has recovered a vast collection of implements, in excess of over a thousand examples of worked flint and stone artefacts has been discovered across the fields by James. This film highlights just a fraction of the finds that he has made.
