After they are crushed by the pressure, they are pretty much ruined. It would be easier to make a new one than to try to fix one (Imagine a car after it goes through that smasher that turns them into small boxes of crushed metal).

nooo after you drop it in the ocean and it sinks and sinks and then collapses from pressure, it sink more after that.
i don't think you can re-use it :P even if you have it on a fishing line so you can get it back, it implodes to make its sound

Wow! Great insight by Muller into fascinating story about Sofar, Ewing, science, Roswell and brings sanity to event that UFO nutcases seem to wallow in. Commander Nodrog will probably verify the veracity of Muller's lecture without doubt.
