This was the introduction of "What Did We Learn on the Show Tonight, Craig?"

Craig does these "curtain raisers" because the network wants him to emulate what Kimmel does before HIS show. However, while Jimmy concentrates on deilvering "integrated commercials" for his various sponsors {which are virtually never repeated], Craig will do "nutty stuff", involving the puppets, or involving a member or two of the studio audience, and sometimes just mouthing off at how terrible the network is supposedly treating him and his show...and they're FUNNY!!!

I already saw his mustache before this clip. Ever see those five or ten second previews they show during David Letterman? :D That's when I first saw it.
