Joe is not on any drugs...this is how he was - natural super high energy. He railed at drug use, it's why Topper was fired.

@Blahpunkifyed The Clash were DIY & never shopped at Sex. I read an interview with Paul Simonon where he said that those clothes were WAY too expensive for them, especially since they were all on the dole. He also said: "What was really important about the Clash stuff was that it was accessible to everybody... People who came to Clash shows couldn't afford bondage clothes, but they could spray 'White Riot' on a jacket.'" Plus he mentioned something about not wanting to look like the Pistols lol.

@9scratches2slashes Paul talking about California is from that movie he was in called "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains." Just an acting job, not something he actually said in real life. But yeah, they were all really nice guys despite seeming intimidating.
