These shots include The Nat'l Historic Columbia River Gorge with it's tranquil and scenic waterfalls including the very picturesque Multnomah Falls located on the Oregon side approx. 30 miles east of Portland on the Old Scenic Hwy also accessible off Interstate 84 (Freeway) this has the second longest drop in the nation...the falls drops in two major steps, split into an upper falls of 542 feet (165 m) and a lower falls of 69 feet (21 m), with a gradual 9 foot (3 m) drop in elevation between the two, so the total height of the waterfall is conventionally given as 620 feet (189 m). Multnomah Falls is the second tallest year-round waterfall in the United States after Yosemite Falls. However, Yosemite Falls does not flow during late summer and autumn in years of low snowfall, so Multnomah Falls can be considered the tallest permanent waterfall in the United States.
Also included; shots of a couple of my favorite camping locations; 1st) Camp Creek and 2nd) Timothy Lake up in the Cascade Range of the Mount Hood Nat'l Forest of Oregon.

The Original piece of music I put with this video is that of the late Eva Cassidy singing...
"What a Wonderful World"
* A Little Information about the late singer Eva Cassidy. Beautiful Eva died in 1996, from melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer. Her music was little-known during her 33 years of life, but today her soul-stirring voice is reaching people all over the world.
During a promotional event for the Live at Blues Alley CD in July 1996, Cassidy noticed an ache in her hips, which she attributed to stiffness from painting murals. The pain persisted, and, a few weeks later, Cassidy was diagnosed with melanoma. By the time of her diagnosis, the cancer had spread throughout her body. Cassidy's health deteriorated rapidly, and her final performance was in September 1996. At the performance, she had used a walker to reach the stage, sang "What a Wonderful World" in front of an audience of friends, and was subsequently admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital.[citation needed]

Eva Cassidy died on November 2, 1996, at the age of 33. She was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Washington Area Music Association.

According to her wishes, Cassidy's body was cremated. Her ashes were sprinkled on the shores of St. Mary's Lake, a nature preserve near California, MD.
This is my tribute to the Beatiful Legacy that Eva Cassidy has left behind for ALL of US to ENJOY... May she Rest in Peace.
