Hand Feeding on a Clean Floor

We hand feed our racing pigeons twice a day on a very clean floor that is scraped with a sharpened scraper and thoroughly swept. The droppings are removed and recycled as fertilizer for plants and lawns. Hand feeding twice a day provides important daily opportunities for pigeon fanciers to get to know their pigeons. It provides a daily opportunity to build relationships and trust between fanciers and their pigeons. We believe that developing trust is a very important part of motivating racing pigeons to race home quickly on race day.
