well well, in here i was perhaps 2 hard on preab sovath i think. i wrote that post after i learned that some people consider him as the best male singer in Cambodia today, which i dont agree, as 4 me there are today`s other male singers who`re better than him.

I finally found a group of guys that gave a legit rating. pkving, your right about those that do not know SSS it's because they have not heard him. Every legit band sings SSS songs in some fashion or another. Also look at it this way: More than 35 years after his death, his voice is still alive even with our generation!!

A masterpiece indeed. Sin Si Samouth indeed was and is the master of Cambodian music. Although I am a businessman, my heart becomes soft and sentimental whenever I hear a Samouth song, like this one.

no one can sing like sin sisamouth so far there is no comparable to him. his such as wonderful man capture with his sweet and very uniqe charming voice.

i like preab sovuth @the present day. but compare to this guy back to the past without technology. preab sovuth and rhm never exist.

i cant understand how he can be that famous. he sounds like a YEE-AK (asorah)!! lol!!
perhaps the people who adore him have never listened 2 sin si samouth.
preab sovath's voice has no charm whatsoever. sin si samouth's voice has all the charm in the world.

sin si samouth = beatles + elvis of cambodia.
when i grew up in the 60s & was a youth in the 1st half of the 70s in cambodia, he was like the other half of the soul of every
cambodian, pure khemera or mixed race, male or female, young or old, rich or poor.
now after bein' away from cambodia 4 more than 30 years, i still have him & undoubtedly will always have him in my soul.
glad 2 feel that the new generations also adore him.
