BULLSHIT. The "white hawk" didnt die ok. Its the band of the hawk that dies in this clip. The white hawk is griffith and as the anime shows, griffith becomes one of the 5 demons. And heads up people! NEW BERSERK ANIME IS COMING IN 2011!!!

this manga is good. Slow start at the beginning but gets better. Guts is badass. Thumbs up if you agree.

@l3054 I'll link it to real life... When i'm working I work 100x better when I don't think about it and just react. After doing it so much if I don't think about it and just think about other shit then I just do it instinctively. If i'm not thinking about somthing else (which we know Guts is because you can hear it durrrr) then I automatically focus on what i'm doing and it is no longer instict but it becomes a thought process and I can then make mistakes.

@HDGodStyle once again though the majority of his introspection is wisely done outside of battle you may have thoughts like that during combat but you dont think them out loud like that and you also push them away its better to have a clear mind i think its just more of a way to get across to the audience that after awhile you get tired of killing this has happened to many great warriors miyamoto musashi being a good example who started to avoid killing people after awhile

@l3054 exactly, he doesn't think about fighting because it's instant to him. He thinks about other things such as his life o-O if you stop to seriously think about a situation that's when you die, it's somthing you do better naturally. So he lets his body go with it while he pushes himself in his own world of thought which is when he decided that he no longer wanted to fight under griffith.

@HDGodStyle they do that in anime to show whats going on in their head but if you ever talk to any fighters theyl tell you about it he even said this isnt the time for thinking i should only think about wielding my sword and how il kill them all those technuiqes hes used hes probly drilled over and over hundreds of thousands of times so that in a battle he reacts without thinking thats how it really works its all your subconsious mind if you try and think to yourself in your mind how to react it

@l3054 Anger is more of just being pissed off... Berserk is more like losing complete control and acting like an animal. Kind of the same just a lil different, as when he is mad when fighting he is still thinking about the situation... But when he wears the armour he loses all thought and just charges anything to kill it without thinking.

@HDGodStyle i know all about the armor berserkers were warriors in ancient times known for their frenzied fighting during combat rage and going berserk are pretty much just two words to describe the same thing he did go berserk when all that shit happened he killed tons of those monsters sometimes its just not enough no matter how mad you are

@l3054 That is just rage... Not necessarily going Berserk (crazy). The show has its name because of the suit that he wears later on in the manga that releases the berserk within him allowing him to surpass any limitations his body ever had, with concequences ofcourse.
