the service in store depends which store you go to. much like the comments on here can be made by complete tools, but not all of them. i am the deputy manager of a halfords store and can assure you that not all stores have bad service, mainly those that are in large cities or down south.
well done on the gold by the way, and the rest of the team too.

Biggest compnay in the UK that produces and sells cycles. Oh yeah, they do automotive products. I like cycling, but I still need to use my car and so do the vast majority of people in this country and I like companies like Halfords that sell car parts to me at a real decent price so I can do repairs and servicing myself without some garage riping me off. To put it short, Halfords are not evil and it is good that they are helping to support cycle racing.

Congratulations Nicole. What a brilliant uphill finish. You fully deserved the Olympic Gold.

No filming in Royal parks? No such law or rule or anything - Police just seem to make it up as they go along. They've run out of things to do now that speeding are caught by camera, motoring offences sorted out by glorified traffic wardens, and the rest of the shit is done by police specials leaving the real cops to do far less than ever!

Just read about this video from yesterday's Guardian. How outrageous that the Police are stopping filiming on the excuse that the park is Royal. And what logic was behind creating that law? answer: The Royals dont want to be filmed? If that's the case how come Princess Diana was always being photographed and filmed? She should have just cited this strange law and she never would have died!!
The TV guy being stopped was James Monroe of the BBC. Policeman later said the BBC ought to know better than to film in the Royal Parks...althought it was on a public highway do I don't see the problem.
